Lhokseumawe, February 26, 2025 – The election for the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Student Senate (SEMA) at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Lhokseumawe has successfully concluded, marking a new chapter in the leadership of the highest student organization on campus. Conducted in a spirit of democracy and active student participation, the election resulted in the victory of Cut Asna and Amru Ginting, who will lead SEMA in the upcoming term.

The newly elected leaders bring a bold vision to transform SEMA into a more effective platform for addressing student aspirations and fostering meaningful change.

"Students are the driving force of change. We will ensure that every voice is heard, every concern is addressed, and every decision we make prioritizes the collective interest," said Cut Asna in her first statement as Chairperson.

Vice Chairperson Amru Ginting echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that SEMA is more than just a representative body—it must serve as a catalyst for intellectual, social, and student-driven movements that create tangible impacts on campus life.

With a visionary leadership approach and an unwavering commitment to student advocacy, the IAIN Lhokseumawe Student Senate is poised to advance its mission of protecting student rights and promoting policies that support academic and social development. This is not merely a transition of leadership but the beginning of a movement toward a better, more progressive campus.
